Bissett Campaign Announces New Web Site
Annapolis, MD – The Committee to Elect Phil Bissett announced today that
it has launched a new web site for the campaign to elect the former
state delegate from Mayo county executive of Anne Arundel County in
2006.
The site
includes a biography of Mr. Bissett, detailing his achievements in the
Maryland General Assembly, leadership positions in the Republican party,
and involvement in local community organizations.
It also
gives voters an insight into Mr. Bissett's position on important issues
facing the county, including education, economic growth, environmental
protection, and public safety.
A unique
feature of the site is a "Talking with Phil" section, where the
candidate will provide candid answers in an interview format on a
regular basis. In this first segment, Mr. Bissett talks about his early
experiences growing up in south county and provides a glimpse into his
busy family life with his wife Robin and their three sons.
"We
thought it was important for voters to get a sense of Phil Bissett the
man, not just Phil Bissett the candidate," explained campaign manager
Diane Rey. "Who Phil is as a person will play a major role in how he
operates as county executive."
The site
also allows people to sign up to volunteer for the campaign, make a
donation online, and send Phil a personal e-mail.
"I
invite Anne Arundel County citizens to log on to the web site and stay
in touch with our campaign and the important issues facing our county,"
said Mr. Bissett.
The web
address is www.philbissett.com.
