ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND – With the 2006 election year just underway, Phil Bissett filed the required paperwork today with the county Board of Elections in Glen Burnie to run as a Republican candidate for Anne Arundel County executive.

“Today’s filing represents another successful step in a very deliberate campaign management plan,” said Diane M. Rey, campaign manager. “Mr. Bissett has fulfilled all the legal requirements necessary to become an official candidate for Anne Arundel County executive.
