MD – With results from 100 percent of the
precincts now reported in to the Anne Arundel County Board of Elections
following Tuesday's primary election, Phil Bissett issued the following
statement this morning:
“Anne Arundel County is my family’s home.
It is a wonderful place to live, learn, and earn. I am extremely grateful
for all of the opportunities that I have been offered over the years and for
the continued support I have received from my fellow citizens. I am humbled
by these experiences. After 32 years of dedicated political service, I
announce my retirement from public life. My family and I want to wish Anne
Arundel County all the success it deserves.”
